Since 2020, along with her co-founder Irene, Gereltuya founded a series of climate-action-focused enterprises. They create science-backed climate change content, and develop technological solutions for sustained climate action. They also build youth-led communities, campaign for impactful climate policies, and form partnerships to push Mongolia towards a net-zero future.

Race to Zero Youth Fellow

Climate Champions Team

In June 2024, Gereltuya joined the Climate Champions Team as a Race to Zero Youth Fellow, alongside six other youth climate leaders from around the world. She supports the Race to Zero campaign, the world's largest coalition of non-state actors working to halve global emissions by 2030, with over 14,500 members. Since joining, she has developed a data app for entity matching across campaigns, a web app for partners to update membership data, and is now collecting emissions reduction data from net-zero entities while integrating Green Demand initiatives with Race to Zero.

Garage: No-Code / Low-Code x AI Community

With the aim of introducing and spreading the skills and culture of indie makers to emerging markets like Mongolia, Gereltuya, along with her co-founders Ariunzaya and Irene, co-founded Garage, a no-code/low-code x AI community in 2023. Since its founding, the team has launched several initiatives, including Made in Garage program, Maker Stories content series, and Makers Gonna Make challenge.

Joining TomYo, an edtech startup, as an AI engineer, Gereltuya contributed to the TomYo mobile app by introducing a version of adaptive language assessment model. She also held the Business Intelligence lead position briefly before recently pivoting to become a Product manager at TomYo.

Gereltuya functioned as a Project Leader for one data engineering project and led the company innovation team of nine for six months. She focused her R&D efforts on using latest advances in NLP such as Transformer and BERT to solve real-world problems.

Gereltuya spoke at the Climate Emergency plenary session of the One Young World 2023 Summit in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK, representing her country, her team at Green Dot Climate, and her ancestors who lived as nomadic herders for centuries in Mongolia.

Gereltuya currently is enrolled to the graduate program in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Science at the Saint Petersburg State University. Deep Learning UB Summer School

Gereltuya successfully completed DLUB 2018, a summer school aimed to introduce Deep Learning basic concepts and some use-cases to Mongolian students and young professionals. The summer school was held at the Institute of Mathematics, National University of Mongolia. Gereltuya, with Yanjinlkham, has participated in the student project competition and has won the sponsor prize by the Dentsu Data Artist Mongol LLC.

MIT Global Startup Labs Mongolia was MIT-Mongolia initiative’s pilot program, a summer-long intensive coding and entrepreneurship bootcamp for rising technology entrepreneurs. Stochastic Processes and Applications Mongolia 2015 was a two-week-long CIMPA-DAAD Research School held at the National University of Mongolia. The research school was preceded by an IMU-funded Pre-school focused on the measure-theoretic probability theory. Gereltuya successfully finished the three-week-long pre-school course taught by Ass. Prof. Friedrich Hubalek, TU Wien. Gereltuya participated in the research school both as a local participant and a student volunteer.
